How to Enable Dark Mode in Google Chrome on Android
Google Chrome’s dark mode on Android has become a favorite feature for many users due to its comfort during nighttime browsing and its ability to reduce eye strain. Step 1: Open Google Chrome Settings
First, open the Google Chrome app on your Android device. Tap the three dots icon in the top right corner to open the menu.
Step 2: Go to the “Settings” Menu
In the dropdown menu, select “Settings”. Scroll down in the settings menu until you find the “Theme” section.
Step 3: Choose the Dark Theme
Tap on the “Theme” option, where you’ll see three choices:
- Light — Standard theme with a white background;
- Dark — Black background with light text;

Alternative Method: Enable Dark Mode via Chrome Flags
