How to Change the Keyboard Language Switch Shortcut in Windows
Windows allows users to customize the keyboard shortcuts for quickly switching between input languages. This is especially helpful if you frequently work with multiple languages and want to set up a shortcut that suits your needs. Follow the steps below to change the default language switch shortcut.
Step 1: Open “Settings”
First, open Windows “Settings.” You can do this by clicking on the “Start” menu icon in the lower-left corner of your screen and selecting “Settings” or by using the Win + I

Step 2: Go to “Time & Language”
In the Settings window, find and open the “Time & Language” section, where you can manage all settings related to language, region, and time.
Step 3: Navigate to Language Settings
In the left menu, choose the “Language & Region” or “Language” tab (depending on your Windows version). Scroll down and look for the “Advanced Keyboard Settings” section.
Step 4: Open “Advanced Keyboard Settings”
Click on the “Advanced Keyboard Settings” link. In the new window, select “Language Bar Options” to manage keyboard shortcuts.
Step 5: Change the Keyboard Shortcut
In the new window, go to the “Advanced Key Settings” tab. Click on the “Change Key Sequence” button and choose your preferred shortcut from the available options, such as:
