How to Create a User in Windows 10
Creating a new user in Windows 10 is a process that can be useful for both home users and organizations. Follow these simple steps to set up a new user on your computer.
Step 1: Open Settings
First, you need to access the Settings menu. Click on the Start button and select the Settings icon (the gear). Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Windows + I.
Step 2: Go to "Accounts"
In the Settings menu, select Accounts. Here, you can manage all aspects of user accounts on your device.
Step 3: Add a New User
In the left menu, click on Family & other users. Under the Other users section, click on the Add someone else to this PC button.
Step 4: Choose the Method to Add
You will be prompted to add an account using a Microsoft account or to create an offline account. If you prefer to create a local account, select I don’t have this person’s sign-in information, and then click on Add a user without a Microsoft account.
Step 5: Fill in User Information
Enter the username, password, and password hint. Make sure to choose a strong password to secure the account. After that, click Next.
Step 6: Complete the Process
Once the account is successfully created, you will see it listed among the users. You can now configure access rights for the new user, such as making them an administrator if needed.
