How to Rename a Bluetooth Device in Windows

If you have multiple Bluetooth devices connected to your Windows computer, giving each device a unique name can help you identify them more easily and avoid confusion. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to rename a Bluetooth device in Windows.

Step 1: Open Windows Settings

First, open Settings in Windows. You can do this by pressing Win + I on your keyboard or selecting the gear icon in the Start menu.

Step 2: Go to the "Devices" Section

In the Settings window, click on Devices. Here, you’ll find all the devices connected to your computer, including Bluetooth devices.

Step 3: Access Bluetooth Device Settings

In the left-hand menu, select Bluetooth & other devices. Find the device you want to rename and click on it to view available options.

Step 4: Open Device Manager

To rename the device, you’ll need to open Device Manager. Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager from the list.
